Neutron Electric Dipole Moment
Content
For the neutron to have an electric dipole moment (nEDM), the theory of nature must have T, or equivalently CP, violation (CPV). Thus nEDM is a deep probe of novel CPV in beyond the standard model (BSM) physics. To leverage the connection between measured nEDM and novel mechanism of CPV, one requires calculation of matrix elements for CPV operators, for which lattice QCD can play important role. In this talk I review the status of recent lattice QCD calculations of the nEDM.
